Starushyk N.S. Indicative-index approaches application for forest ecosystems research in the Boyarka Forestry Experimental Station Manufacturing Firm. The Bachelor Research for the Specialty 8.070801-Ecology-and-Nature-Conservation. Kyiv: NULES, 2009.−70 p. (Manuscript, Ukr) Resume. The Boyarka Forestry Experimental Station Manufacturing Firm (Boyarka, Kievan region) is a part of network of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine (NULES). For the first time of the local forested area the indicative-index approach has been used (despite of its common popularity in environment of CBD’s countries, GLOBIO and other programs). There were used eight indicators and two indices for illustration of higher potential of local statistic data as well as real self-descriptiveness and prognostic importance of the IFS-format (WCMC, UNEP-GEF BINU). The IFS-format examples included ‘State of roe deer population (Carpeolus of carpeolus) of count on 100 hectares of the forests’ and ‘Index of fragmentation of territory covered by forest: an area of road-net is in a calculation on 100 hectares of the forest; an area of territory covered by forest  on a 1 hectare of road-net’. Actually, it was the first case in history of the local forestry manufacturing firm, when it’s common statics 1957-2002 were presented in a format of CBD and GLOBIO, and argued additionally that populations decreasing of some indicative hunting animals in the region take place indeed. Polynomial and logarithmic approximation was the most considerable in the experiment on modelling.
